Seen this morning at 09.30 and again at 16.30

There was 30+ whooper swans on the grass east of portmoak glider field (scotlandwell) this am.

I guess they are fuelling up for their trip ahead. Whooper Swans usually fly back to their breeding grounds in Iceland during March.

Hi all.
Whoopers still at scotlandwell.
Was up at kinnordy to-day and whoopers still there. 3 shoveler drakes feeding in front of hide, no sign of bittern.

Hi all,
was up at Kinnordy yesterday, 40+whooper swans still there. Had a fly past by white tailed eagle making swoops on mute swans.

Hi did Birnie and rossie today noticed water levels well up . the white cheeked or bahama pintail is back at Birnie, not an awful lot about  a few golden eye, tufted duck, wigeon bullfinches, coal, great and blue tits,. A pair of oyster catchers, mallard, coot and very little else at Birnie

Rossie bog  21 whooper swans still there, a pintail, a couple of mallard, a few teal , greyl;ag geese   and a pair of greenfinches


 I did spot on the way south  just north of freuche a swallow the first  this year for me . summer must be here
