Baron's Haugh is a fantasic site with many different habitats and a good record of trurning up some interesting bird species. Probably the best place in the land to stand a good chance of seeing (and photographing) Water Rail. Kingfisher are also relatively obliging. Great White Egret and Marsh Harrier have been recent visitors and I have been lucky enough to photograph Otter on the river.
