Baron's Haugh

I was hoping to go there tomorrow.
The webmaster of the Barons Haugh site made a comment that we should park on road as car park is unattended.
does this mean the reserve is unsafe ?

Can anyone help

Barons Haugh is as safe as any other reserve during the day but at night especially at weekends it is sometimes used by the local youths etc for drinking in the hides.  I have never had any bother during the day.  The regular birders park there cars in the street  just up from the entrance to Dalzell Woods and not far from the top main entrance to Barons haugh. They tend not to use the main car park, think cars are safer parked in the street where they can be seen.  Hope this helps.
